Following years of research into the fascinating field of cryptozoology, Forest Satellite uses digital synthesis tools and effects processors in tandem with selective field recordings in order to approximate surrealistic locations, curious events and elusive organisms within a set of 14 sound recordings. CER is a sonic experience unlike any other you've heard before, from Forest Satellite or anyone else for that matter - a darkly psychedelic trip through a shadowy world of superstition and weird science, guided by an inquisitive explorer in search of the questions, and not so much their answers. Highly textured and vividly atmospheric, CER presents a new path forward for those of us who grew up reading everything we could about mysteries like the Solway Firth Spaceman or the Flatwoods Monster. A perfect companion for a bedroom floor filled with Kaiju comics, paranormal library books, plastic tapedecks, cathode-ray screens or even a quiet stroll outdoors with a Walkman, a pocket camera and a wild imagination
